Reconstructive Financial Policy

Elmé Aesthetics and Oculofacial Plastic Surgery

At Elmé, we are committed to ensuring your surgical experience is as seamless, comfortable, and stress-free as possible. We believe in fostering trust through clear communication and transparency so you can focus on achieving your goals with confidence.

Consultation “No-show,” Policy

Your journey begins with a personalized consultation to discuss your goals, receive expert recommendations, and have all your questions answered. A great effort is made to ensure your highest quality experience. As a consequence, when one does not come to the scheduled appointment there are associated costs. Therefore, our policy includes a “no-show,” appointment fee of $75. Of course, life happens and so simply rescheduling or cancelling the appointment at least 24hr in advance will avoid this fee.

Surgery Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances may change. In the event you need to cancel your surgery, the following policy applies:

  • 15 or more days before surgery: Full refund minus the $1,000 USD deposit.
  • 7–14 days before surgery: 50% refund of total fees.
  • 0–6 days before surgery: No refund.
  • This policy allows us to maintain fairness while respecting the time and effort involved in preparing for your procedure.

Insurance Coverage

For non-cosmetic procedures that may be covered by insurance, we work diligently to assist you in maximizing your benefits. While exact reimbursements can vary, a surgical deposit may still be required at the time of scheduling. Our knowledgeable staff will complete all necessary insurance forms after surgery to facilitate reimbursement on your behalf.

Insurance Authorization

We understand that navigating insurance policies can be complex, especially with high deductible health plans (HDHPs) or out-of-network coverage. To simplify this process:

  • For HDHPs: A prepayment of $150 is required, with additional payments for procedures as needed.
  • For out-of-network insurance: A prepayment of $200 is required, with additional payments for procedures as needed.

The difference between your prepayment and the final cost will be billed after services are rendered, and payment will be expected upon receipt of the bill.

Financial Assistance

We understand that financial considerations can sometimes pose challenges. If you feel that proceeding with surgery would create a financial burden, please discuss this with us prior to scheduling. We are committed to exploring equitable solutions tailored to your needs. Please note, at this time we do not offer care credit, but it is something that we will continue to explore as the need arises.

Commitment to Excellence

Our team is dedicated to providing a supportive environment where every patient feels valued and informed. By offering clear policies and compassionate care, we aim to build lasting relationships based on trust and mutual respect.
