Mithra Gonzalez, M.D.
Dr. Mithra Gonzalez is an internationally recognized leader in Oculofacial Plastic and Orbital Surgery.
After completing medical school at the University of Iowa, he completed residency at the University of Rochester and then a two-year ASOPRS-approved fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic and Orbital Surgery at the University of Colorado.
In 2012 he returned to the University of Rochester to establish the Division of Oculofacial Plastic and Orbital Surgery. With appointments in the Departments and Divisions of Ophthalmology, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Otolaryngology, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr Gonzalez has focused on providing superior care to Western New York by performing thousands of surgeries and training dozens of surgeons.
